Marlins Get Bad News With Edward Cabrera Injury Update

The Miami Marlins are hoping top pitching prospect Edward Cabrera can build on the experience he got last season during his first taste of MLB action. Health will be a major factor in his development, though, given how the young right-hander has struggled with injuries so far.
Now it turns out Cabrera has an issue with a troublesome area once again.
Marlins pitcher Edward Cabrera has been unable to continue his build up due to right biceps muscle fatigue, per source. Cabrera got a slightly late start to Spring due to visa issue. He will be placed on the IL. Should be a short IL stint.

Edward Cabrera Injury Update
Cabrera is dealing with muscle fatigue in his right biceps, per Craig Mish of the Miami Herald. The 23-year-old will need to be placed on the injured list, though it's not expected to be for long.
This is far from the greatest start for the organization's No. 2 overall prospect. He's already dealt with other arm injuries like shoulder soreness and biceps inflammation in his young career, which led to his delayed MLB debut.
Hopefully some rest is all Cabrera needs to get ready for the 2022 season. He started seven games for Miami last year, recording an 0-3 record, 5.81 ERA and 28 strikeouts across 26.1 innings.
A strong showing in Triple-A once he returns could help him crack the Marlins' rotation sooner rather than later.
