This certainly hasn't been the follow-up act season to last year's record-setting College Football Playoff National Championship squad that fans in Louisiana had expected.
Between a massive loss of talent to the 2020 NFL Draft and a few tough losses, the Tigers have fallen to 3-3 ahead of their Week 12 matchup with No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies.
And unfortunately for LSU, the oddsmakers don't love their chances against this SEC West opponent for a rebound win this Saturday either, as the Tigers have already opened as 13.5-point road underdogs against the Aggies.
LSU has dominated this series as of late, winning eight of the last nine meetings between these two teams, but the Tigers did drop their most recent trip to College Station, 74-72, in a wild shoutout from 2018.
There's still plenty of time for this spread to shift in either direction between now and Saturday's 7 p.m. EST kickoff, but the Aggies remain commanding home favorites for the time being.
