Michael Gallup has been a really impressive player since entering the league in 2018. But injuries, and a lack of opportunity, have held him back with the Dallas Cowboys. The 25-year-old is also coming off an ACL tear suffered in Week 17 this year.

That all makes him one of the most interesting wideouts available in free agency this offseason. It's not hard to envision a team viewing Gallup as their WR1/2 of the future, but those question marks could bring down his price tag.

Michael Gallup Free Agency

Here are three of the most likely destinations for Gallup in free agency.

3. Los Angeles Chargers

Mike Williams might walk this offseason, and Michael Gallup would be an excellent replacement for him. Both receivers excel as deep threats, though Williams tends to win through physicality on jump balls while Gallup is more of a burner. Either way, this offense needs a true deep threat to pair with the rocket-armed Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen, who is more of a possession guy. LA has plenty of money to spend ($62 million; No. 2 in the NFL), and using a good chunk of that on Gallup would make a ton of sense. The 25-year-old fits this team's timeline and would be an awesome replacement for or complement to Williams.

2. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are bereft of WR talent outside of promising rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown. Bringing Gallup would give this team the vertical element it sorely needs, and he could be attracted to the money and role Detroit can offer. The Lions have $29 million in available cap space (No. 12 in the NFL). This team desperately needs to add talent to its WR room and taking a flyer on Gallup should accomplish that.

1. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders really need to add a legit deep threat this offseason after losing Henry Ruggs. Gallup looks like one of the best deep threats available this offseason, and Las Vegas might not need to break the bank to sign him. There are rumors linking Davante Adams to the Raiders because of his connection to Derek Carr, but Gallup feels like a much more realistic option.
