NFL Executives Believe Larry Fitzgerald Could Retire This Offseason

Larry Fitzgerald has put together one of the best careers for a wide receiver in NFL history. Playing all 17 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Fitzgerald is a free agent for the first time and went into the offseason in doubt if he would return to the field in 2021.
While there has been no indication from the wide receiver himself on whether or not he plans to retire, multiple NFL executives have reportedly told The Athletic's Mike Sando that they expect Fitzgerald will call it a career this offseason.

There's still nothing concrete quite yet, but it wouldn't be shocking to see Fitz lace up his cleats this offseason. The addition of A.J. Green certainly pointed toward Fitz not coming back in 2021.
Ranking No. 2 all-time in career receptions and receiving yards, and No. 6 in receiving touchdowns, Fitzgerald's resume surely isn't in question. Whether or not he returns to the field next season, he will ultimately end up with a gold jacket in Canton, Ohio.
