The NFC West is arguably the best division in the NFL, so Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams leading it early on is impressive. Stafford's strong start to the season has the Rams among the Super bowl favorites and himself as a serious MVP candidate.

Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals are set to go up against Stafford in Week 4 to battle for first place in the division. The Arizona head coach had some high praise for Stafford going into the game, something you might not expect from a rival head coach. But Kingsbury has been following Stafford since he was a high school star in Texas.

When discussing Stafford's arm talent, Kingsbury didn't hold any praise back.

"It's legendary. He is a freak show at that position, and his skillset's really getting the chance to show in Sean's offense."

Legendary is exactly what Stafford has looked like this season, ranking near or at the top of every major passing category in the NFL.

Stafford's talent was rarely questioned, even as he struggled to win games on a bad Detroit Lions roster. But now that he is surrounded by talent and a coach most considered an offensive genius, the results are scary for any team trying to compete with the Rams.
