Los Angeles Chargers wideout Keenan Allen has been unable to recover from his current hamstring injury. Allen is not expected to suit up on Sunday after missing last week's game, which should boost Mike Williams' fantasy outlook in Week 17.

Allen will finish this season with 992 yards, his first time falling under the 1,000-yard mark since 2016. He did tie his career high with 8 receiving touchdowns this season, though, and currently ranks as WR9 in PPR fantasy scoring.

Mike Williams Fantasy Outlook

Williams will be in for a heightened load as Justin Herbert's No. 1 option with Allen likely out again.

In Week 16, with Allen absent due to his hamstring injury, Williams registered a season-high 10 targets, turning them into 4 receptions for 54 yards. The increased attention that the former Clemson receiver enjoyed is clear, and he's in prime position to be Herbert's go-to option once again. In the six games that Williams has seen 7 or more targets, he's scored in three of those contests.

Williams and the Chargers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. The Chiefs have been a nightmare for opposing WRs, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game (31.3) to that position this season, but they have little to play for with the No. 1 seed locked up, so that should put Williams in great position for a productive day.
