The first ever virtual NFL Draft concluded Saturday night, with 255 players selected. One of the most notable to be drafted early was Justin Jefferson, who played wide receiver for the national champion LSU Tigers. Jefferson had a lot of success at the collegiate level, after not being widely recruited. Now, he projects to have success as a rookie in the NFL.

Jefferson was drafted at No. 22 overall to the Minnesota Vikings, making him the fifth wide receiver selected. With Minnesota trading receiver Stefon Diggs to the Bills, there is a vacancy in the starting lineup that Jefferson was selected to fill.

FanDuel Sportsbook has a couple early projections for Jefferson to bet on. They have the over/under for receiving yards set at 725.5, which is the fourth-most among rookies, just behind Jerry Jeudy (850.5), CeeDee Lamb (799.5) and Henry Ruggs III (740.5).

Jefferson's receiving touchdown total is set at 5.5, with the over having +108 odds and the under at -136. This touchdown total is tied with Jeudy for the most among rookie wide receivers, currently.

A 725-yard, five-touchdown performance in his rookie campaign would be nothing to scoff at. Totaling 725 yards would have had him finishing 50th in the NFL last season, while five touchdowns would have him tied at 44th-most in the league. But with Diggs leaving 1,130 yards and six touchdowns behind, the opportunity is there for Jefferson to prove any doubters wrong yet again and hit the over.
