Jordan Love Takes Important Step in Injury Recovery

It's important for the Green Bay Packers to have Jordan Love capable of stepping in this season given the continued uncertainty surrounding Aaron Rodgers' future. The team got some good news recently as Love has suffered no setbacks in his return to practice on Monday. Love continues to rehab from a shoulder injury.

Love originally suffered what is simply being called a right shoulder injury during the Packer's first preseason game on August 14. He missed the following week and ended up sitting out the team's second preseason matchup. Love has since returned to practice this week and seems to be progressing well.

Reports claim Love looked comfortable in individual drills and is now back in full pads on Tuesday. This is exactly what Packers fans want to hear as it looks like Love has a shot to play in Green Bay's preseason finale against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, Aug. 28.

The 22-year-old would be in line to see a majority of the first-team snaps on Saturday night as Rodgers will look on from the sidelines in preparation for Week 1 of the regular season. It would be a great opportunity for the coaching staff to see how Love can adjust to game action as the team's future franchise QB.
