The Cincinnati Reds were firing on all cylinders Monday night as they beat down the Miami Marlins by a score of 11-2. Starting pitcher Nick Lodolo struck out nine hitters in 6.0 innings, but it was Jonathan India that stole the show with his first grand slam. He took to Twitter on Tuesday in search of the ball.

India sent out a tweet to Reds fans in hopes of securing what would be a special memento for his own collection. The 25-year-old lifted the ball deep into left field and into the second deck off reliever Zach Pop in the sixth inning. It was India's sixth home run of the year and it blew the game wide open.

It was the breakout game many Reds fans have been waiting to see out of India. After being named NL Rookie of the Year in 2021, he hasn't found the same level of success this summer. He shined on Monday, though, finishing a triple shy of the cycle at the plate (3-for-4) with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Many times fans will step forward in the wake of catching a milestone baseball because it means much more to the player than it does to them. It usually results in a meet-and-greet with the pro and a couple of awesome souvenirs, too. Not too bad for being in the right place at the right time.

India even retweeted a picture that shows the man holding onto the ball in the stands as he trots around the bases. For now, Cincinnati has odds set at +500000 to win the World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
