Injuries and underperforming expectations have made this a trying year for the Denver Broncos. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy seemingly hit a boiling point in Week 14, as cameras caught him in a full-on tirade during the third quarter while coming off of the field.
The wideout explained why he was so heated in that moment after the contest.
Jeudy said in postgame comments that he felt he got held on the play in question, which led to some "frustration" coming up to the surface. The third-year pro just wanted to "make a play" for his team, but admitted he'll working on controlling emotions moving forward.
This is the perfect response from the wide receiver. He had the team's best intentions in mind and was simply upset he wasn't allowed to help his squad out. Jeudy certainly didn't express his unhappiness with the official in the best way, but it was great to see some emotion from someone on the Broncos after a year full of bland sayings and excuses.
Jeudy certainly did everything he could to will his team to a comeback on Sunday, hauling in a whopping three touchdowns and recording 73 yards. Hopefully this is the start of a strong finish down the stretch for the pass-catcher after he was forced to miss time earlier in the year.
