Insane Stat Could Lead to Jerry Jeudy Breakout in 2021

Jerry Jeudy was a highly-touted NFL Draft prospect in 2020 and put together a solid rookie season with the Denver Broncos after being selected No. 17 overall. However, one insane statistic shows that the former Alabama player may be in for a breakout season in 2021.
Jeudy led the league last season when it came to incomplete targets that were deemed to be the quarterback's fault with 26, according to ProFootballFocus. This should not come as a major surprise given the Broncos started four different signal-callers including Drew Lock, Jeff Driskel, Brett Rypien and Kendall Hinton.

Jeudy ended up hauling in 52 of his 113 targets for 856 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2020. He averaged an impressive 16.5 yards per reception and led the team in targets as well as receiving yards. He enters next season as one of the best options in the passing game alongside Courtland Sutton.
This stat is more of a shot at Lock than anything else. He tied for the NFL lead in interceptions last season (15) and this stat highlights just how inaccurate he was at times.
The Broncos are one of the many teams that could draft a quarterback in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. If they do upgrade the position, or Lock finally improves, Jeudy could be in for a real breakout campaign next year.
