Facing a rash of injuries at the running back position, the Pittsburgh Steelers are once again likely to rely heavily on Jaylen Samuels against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, a move that immediately spikes his fantasy football value in Week 10.

In a similar situation last week, Samuels posted just eight carries for 10 yards, but an eye-popping 13 receptions for 73 yards, both of which led the Steelers in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts. No matter the format, those numbers are valuable from a running back, and Samuels could repeat the feat again this week against the Rams.

James Conner Injury Update

Just like last week, the main source of Samuels' value comes from being the only healthy running back on the Steelers' roster. This starts with the team's No. 1 running back James Conner missing his second straight game with a shoulder injury. And given Conner's injury history, and the uncertainty surrounding his shoulder, Samuels' value could hold steady for the foreseeable future.

Third-string running back Benny Snell has also been declared out with a knee injury, with fourth-stringer Trey Edmonds most likely to share the backfield with Samuels this weekend.

Samuels should dominate the touches in this Sunday either way, which is why we have him listed as a high-end RB2 at RB16 in our Week 10 fantasy football PPR rankings.
