Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams has been a true game-changing player whenever he's been on the field this year. Despite only appearing in 6 games, the safety currently leads Seattle in sacks with 5.5.

But Adams has been playing through pain as well. In fact, according to the man himself, Adams was essentially playing with one arm in Week 11. Check out this quote he gave to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

The quick turnaround was very tough playing with one arm, dealing with a shoulder injury... But it's getting better, and that’s the scary part... So watch out."

Adams managed to play 100% of Seattle's defensive snaps in Week 11, but he clearly wasn't operating at 100%. It was his only healthy game of the year in which he didn't record at least 1 sack, and his 3 tackles and 0 tackles for loss were also season worsts (aside from Week 3, which he left early due to injury).

The fact that Adams was even playing in Week 11 is impressive enough. But playing 100% of the snaps with an injury like that proves Adams is an absolute warrior.

The fourth-year safety is truly a transformational defensive piece. If he's finally approaching full strength, as this quote suggests he might be, Seattle's defense could look a whole lot different down the stretch.
