J.J. Arcega-Whiteside Can't Catch a Break
By Zach Brunner

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has been has been a colossal disappointment for the Philadelphia Eagles in his short career. On top of the lack of production, the second-year wide receiver has also tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the Week 11 game against the Cleveland Browns.
Due to contact tracing, Vinny Curry, Corey Clement, John Hightower and Deontay Burnett have all been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list as well, though those four are still eligible to play this week, as long as they continue to test negative.
Sources tell me and @caplannfl: #Eagles are placing WRs J.J. Arecega-Whiteside, John Hightower, and Deontay Burnett on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Whiteside tested positive and the others were identified as close contacts.
The Eagles drafted Arcega-Whiteside in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Since then, it seems like the receiver cannot catch a break. Even worse, it seems like he cannot catch anything at all.
Across 23 career games and five starts, Arcega-Whiteside has been targeted just 27 times in his career. He has caught less than half of those targets, totaling 12 receptions for 214 yards and one touchdown.
Despite the extreme amount of injuries to the Eagles' receiving corps this season, Arcega-Whiteside has been unable to find any kind of positivity, aside from the positive COVID test. He played 41 percent of the snaps in Week 1 and has since seen his snap share fall. He has not played more than 17 percent of the snaps since Week 5.
