Hutchinson, Hamilton, Neal Favored to Be No. 2 Overall Pick After Massive Shakeup in the Odds

April's 2022 NFL Draft is just over a month away and it's still anyone's guess as to who the Detroit Lions will take with the second overall selection. As of March 17, Liberty's Malik Willis and Notre Dame's Kyle Hamilton were co-favorites for the honor on FanDuel Sportsbook.
NFL Draft 2022
FanDuel Sportsbook's No. 1 overall pick odds have undergone a drastic turn since the last update. But Hamilton, along with Michigan pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson and Georgia Bulldogs defensive end Tavon Walker, are all +350 to be taken second overall by the Lions in April.
The Lions essentially need help in most areas after going 3-13-1 in the 2021 NFL season. Hutchinson has been on their radar for some time, especially with him being born in and having attended school in the state of Michigan. He finished with a career-high 14.0 sacks last Fall and was a Heisman Trophy finalist, making him a potential solution to Detroit's lackluster pass rush.
Hamilton has also been getting a lot of buzz in recent mock drafts when it comes to potentially going to Detroit. At 6-foot-4, he can pretty much lineup wherever needed and finished last season with an impressive three interceptions and four defended passes in just seven games played.
Meanwhile, Walker is someone who's skyrocketed up rankings lately. While his statistics weren't eye-popping in 2021, his draft combine and pro day showcases have caused him to become a top-three pick in many mock drafts.
Here's a look at how the rest of FanDuel Sportsbook's No. 2 overall pick odds are shaping up.
