Here's How Justin Jefferson Can Make NFL History in Week 18
By Larry Rupp

Wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been tearing up the NFL ever since the Minnesota Vikings drafted him No. 22 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
He has already set a number of records over his first two seasons, but has a chance to break Michael Thomas' record for most receptions in a player's first two NFL seasons if he has a solid showing in Week 18.
With 5 catches today, Vikings WR Justin Jefferson would set the NFL record for most catches in a player's first two seasons of his career (196).

Vikings News
Jefferson only needs 5 catches to pass Thomas for the most receptions in a player's first two seasons (196). The former LSU standout averages 6.4 receptions per game this year and has hauled in at least 5 passes in four of his last five games. This record is definitely in reach on Sunday.
A lot of people wondered if Jefferson would be able to replicate the success he found during his rookie season. Not only has he been able to do just that, but he is improving across the board.
The 22-year-old already owns the NFL record for most receiving yards in a player's first two seasons after he surpassed Odell Beckham Jr.'s mark back in Week 16. Jefferson's list of accolades seems to be growing with each passing game, but the one goal his has yet to accomplish is reaching the playoffs.
There's no reason Kirk Cousins shouldn't be looking Jefferson's way on Sunday. The Vikings have a shot to end a up-and-down year on a high note playing a divisional rival in the Bears. Peppering the two-time Pro Bowler with targets would give the home crowd something to cheer about.
Minnesota took down Chicago back in Week 15 and are slated as 4-point home favorites this time around, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
