One of the most highly anticipated UFC matchups of the year so far will be between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane. The battle for the UFC Heavyweight Championship will go down at UFC 270 on the night of January 22. All fights on the card will be taking place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

FanDuel Sportsbook has posted opening odds for the fight.

Ngannou vs Gane Odds

Ciryl Gane has opened as a narrow -118 favorite, while Francis Ngannou is a +100 underdog. The most likely outcome seems to be Ngannou winning by KO/TKO, with odds set at +125.

Ngannou is the current titleholder and enters as an underdog for the first time in his last four fights. Nicknamed "The Predator", the 35-year-old out of Cameroon has knocked out each of his last five opponents and has a knack for ending things early. Overall, Ngannou owns a record of 16-3-0 and has racked up 12 knockouts and four submission wins.

On the other side, Gane will be aiming to unite the belts and prove who the better fighter truly is. The 31-year-old out of France is known as "Bon Gamin" and uses his technical skill to break opponents down. He is regularly able to land strikes without absorbing any himself. Gane enters this fight with a professional record of 10-0-0 with 4 knockouts.
