Former NFL GM Proposes Interesting Three-Team Russell Wilson Trade

Russell Wilson has been at the forefront of the NFL rumor mill this offseason. With rumblings of his potential unhappiness and subsequent availability in a trade, fans and insiders alike have been exploring various possibilities of where and how the star quarterback could be moved.
Friday, on ESPN's "Get Up", Mike Tannenbaum revealed a potential three-team deal that could land Wilson with the Chicago Bears, while also bringing in a potential replacement for him from the New York Jets in Sam Darnold.

In a vacuum, it seems like this potential deal could work for all sides. The Jets would get the expected value for Sam Darnold and clear the way to select a new quarterback with their No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
The Seahawks might not be getting the three first-round picks they are reportedly seeking in a Wilson deal, but they would get a really productive and young defensive starter instead of that third first-round pick. And the Bears would obviously get the star quarterback they have been seeking.
Three-team deals are always a bit more challenging to pull off and this still might not be enough in Seattle's eyes, but it would certainly be the blockbuster deal of the offseason and would shake up the NFL.
