Due to the pandemic, the pre-draft process is going to be very different this year. Instead of working out at the NFL Combine, prospects are spreading out their workouts at pro days and various other events.
One such event is the House of Athlete Combine, where Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes Jr. might've just stolen the show.
Stokes measured in as a 6-foot-1, 185-pound corner, which is pretty ideal for the position. But it was the athletic testing that really turned heads.
He ran a 4.25-second 40-yard dash and posted a 41.5-inch vertical jump with a 131-inch broad jump. That's pretty special stuff.
Coming into this performance, Stokes looked like a second-round pick. But after this dominant showing, it's not a stretch to think he could creep into the first round, especially with how weak the free-agent CB class is in 2021.
