Elijah Mitchell Fantasy Outlook
Mitchell was off to a good start, tallying 41 rushing yards on six carries. His long rush of the game went for 16 yards, but he had yet to see a target in the passing game from Trey Lance.
This could open up the door for a big second half of the game from Jeff Wilson Jr., who saw limited action before Mitchell's injury.
Jeff Wilson Jr. Fantasy Outlook
Wilson entered the week as RB54 on Fantasy Pros' Week 1 PPR rankings. The second-stringer did get a pair of carries for just six yards in the first half, although he was targeted just once for a six-yard reception.
The 49ers' backup was rostered on just 3.5% of ESPN Fantasy teams prior to Sunday, making him a priority waiver wire pickup if Mitchell misses additional time.
