Wednesday night's 2021 NFL schedule release has provided fans something to analyze in the coming days. The Philadelphia Eagles already knew they'd have a softer schedule in 2021, which is one major advantage for the team as Jalen Hurts takes over.

However, the Eagles' recently set schedule features another thing going in Philly's favor.

Eagles Schedule 2021

The first half of Philadelphia's 2021 schedule will feature trips to Atlanta, Dallas, North Carolina, Las Vegas and Detroit. But after Week 10 at the Denver Broncos, the Eagles won't travel much at all. They have five home games from Week 11-18, and their three road games (New York Giants, New York Jets, Washington Football Team) are all within driving distance.

It's possible the Eagles won't need to board a plane at all in the regular season after Week 10. That's a major travel advantage and could help the team as they look to finish strong down the stretch.

Philadelphia could be in the thick of the NFC East race after Week 10. Gaining rest time at a point in the season when everyone is nursing some kind of injury will benefit the Eagles. It'd be no surprise if Philly is more refreshed than their opponents as they make a playoff push in the back half of the season.
