After weeks of calls for the Philadelphia Eagles to make a change a starting quarterback, head coach Doug Pederson finally made the move to start rookie Jalen Hurts over Carson Wentz in Week 14. The decision paid off, as Hurts helped lead the Eagles to their first win in five games.

However, Pederson had an incredibly questionable quote about his team's starting QB situation after the team's rare win.

Pederson's indecision has hurt the team, putting them in limbo every week as they wonder who the starter will be. It appeared the head coach had finally committed to Hurts without a second thought, but now he's falling right back into his same old indecisive ways.

Hurts showcased his dual-threat abilities against the Saints' stout defense. He threw for 167 yards and a touchdown while adding another 106 yards on the ground. For a rookie in his first-ever start, he definitely showed enough to warrant starter snaps going forward. Yet, the Eagles seem headed for another QB controversy this week.

Hurts should, at the very least, have the inside track on the starting job going forward, although it's unclear when the Eagles will designate a starter ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds have the Eagles as 6-point underdogs this week.
