Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has been dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him on the sidelines for each of the Arizona Cardinals' last three games. The Pro Bowler's status remains up in the air for Week 13 as well.
The Cardinals currently own the No. 1 seed in the NFC with a 9-2 record, but need to get healthy if they want any shot of staying on top throughout the final stretch of the season. It's safe to say fans are itching to see their star wideout back on the field.
DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update
DeAndre Hopkins returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since October.
Is DeAndre Hopkins Going To Play This Week?
Getting on the practice field is a good first step for Hopkins, but he still has some obstacles left to clear before returning to game action. It will be worth monitoring his practice participation closely this week.
If Hopkins is taking snaps and running routes in practice, it wouldn't be surprising to see him back with the starting offense as soon as Sunday. He would take back his role as the No. 1 receiver after racking up 486 yards and 7 touchdowns on 35 receptions across eight games played this season.
When is DeAndre Hopkins Coming Back?
Hopkins' return date is currently unknown, but now that he has returned to practice it could be as soon as Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
