Darren Waller is coming off a remarkable 2019 campaign. Among tight ends, he finished with the second-most receiving yards (1,145) and receptions (90), earning himself a lucrative contract extension in the process.

However, Las Vegas Raiders fans will be shocked to see his low rating in the upcoming "Madden 21" video game.

Waller is rated as the 10th-best tight end in the league right now. That seems a bit ridiculous, as he significantly outproduced everyone ahead of him on that list, aside from Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce.

Waller is an 85 overall – a whopping 10 points lower than Rob Gronkowski, who hasn't even played a snap since 2018. And when we last saw him, he certainly didn't look to be at his peak, physically.

It's also curious to see Waller rated so much lower than Austin Hooper, who, like Waller, enjoyed a breakout campaign last season – though Waller still outperformed him in virtually every category, even on a per-game basis to account for Hooper's injury woes.

Hopefully Waller's rating will go up over the course of the season, because as things currently stand, it's hard not to view it as disrespectful.
