Darren Waller Latest Injury Update is a Huge Relief for Raiders

Other than Travis Kelce, there was no better tight end in football last season than Darren Waller of the Las Vegas Raiders. Thanks to some lackluster play from Las Vegas' wide receivers in 2020, Waller was actually the clear-cut No. 1 pass-catcher on the roster last season.
Fast forward to training camp and Raiders fans have experienced growing concern with their top pass-catcher sidelined for the past two weeks. The Raiders fanbase finally got some great news on Waller's injury update. The sixth-year pro made his return to Raiders training camp practice on Tuesday.

Darren Waller Injury Update
Waller has been dealing with an ankle injury that the Raiders' staff has tried to downplay over the past two weeks. But, when the top receiving target on any NFL team missed extended time, it's cause for concern.
Heading into year six, Waller looks to improve upon the best season of his career. Last season, Waller played in all 16 games while recording 1,196 receiving yards on 107 receptions for nine touchdowns.
He's a vital part to the Raiders offense, which finished eighth in total offense (383.3 yards per game) and seventh in passing (263.6 yards per game). Las Vegas will need a healthy Waller if they look to break a four-year streak missing the postseason. Currently, the Raiders hold just +350 odds to make the playoffs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
