The Philadelphia Eagles have been dealt yet another devastating injury. Dallas Goedert's breakout 2020 campaign will have to be put on hold for now, as he'll be sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a fractured ankle.

That should give Zach Ertz a big-time boost in volume, which should improve his fantasy football outlook.

Zach Ertz Fantasy Football Outlook

Ertz has gotten off to a slightly underwhelming start to the year. To be fair, though, the same can be said of the entire Eagles' offense.

Though he's seeing a solid 8.0 targets per game, Ertz is only averaging 43.3 receiving yards per contest. He's scored 1 TD on the year and has been held below 50 receiving yards in two of three games thus far.

Discounting Week 3 (when he left after seeing just 6 snaps) Goedert averaged 8.5 targets per game over the first two weeks of the year. He turned that into an average of 65.5 receiving yards per game while scoring 1 touchdown.

That leaves a ton of vacated targets, and a significant chunk of those will likely be headed Ertz's way. We have him as the TE5 in our Week 4 fantasy football PPR rankings.
