The Indianapolis Colts were not afraid to make big changes this offseason. Philip Rivers was signed to supplant Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner was acquired via trade from the San Francisco 49ers to bolster the defensive line. With exciting new talents like Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. entering the fold via the draft, the Colts are set to have a great offense.

The Colts finished 7-9 in 2019, but they have a good chance to win the AFC South or stay in contention for the new extra playoff spot. If the odds are right, the Colts' new additions and solid draft talent should bode well for their success in 2020, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Colts' Odds to Make the Playoffs

The Colts currently sit at -154 to make the playoffs next year, the best odds in the AFC South. The Tennessee Titans are close behind at -138 with the Houston Texans well back at +144.

Indianapolis actually has the fourth-best odds in the AFC overall. With the Houston Texans, last year's AFC South winners, getting demonstrably weaker after trading away DeAndre Hopkins, the Colts are in good position. While Tennessee could prove to be a worthy challenger, the door seems to be wide open for the Colts.

The Colts looked to be in shambles when Andrew Luck suddenly retired before 2019, but a quick turnaround and a new quarterback has put them back on the map. Considering Frank Reich and the coaching staff led Indianapolis to the playoffs as recently as 2018, the Colts have the experience and the talent to rise back up the ranks in 2020.
