Christian McCaffrey's Injury Doesn't Change His Mindset

After appearing in 48 consecutive games for the Carolina Panthers, star running back Christian McCaffrey suffered through a 2020 campaign marred by injuries. In fact, McCaffrey saw action in only 3 games.

The 2019 Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection will enter the 2021 campaign fully healthy. McCaffrey also maintains that his recent bout of injury struggles won't change his mindset for this season after some badass quotes.

Aside from one year of injury struggles, McCaffrey's attitude early on his career has worked out exceptionally well. He's rushed for 1,000+ yards in his lone two full NFL seasons. Not only does McCaffrey torch defenses with his run game, but he's quite adept at pass-catching as well. In 2019, McCaffrey also recorded 1,000+ receiving yards and 19 total touchdowns.

The Panthers will rely heavily on McCaffrey as he returns from injury. Despite the addition of Sam Darnold at quarterback, Carolina is considered longshots even to win the division.
