Christian McCaffrey Injury Update is Amazing News for Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are 3-3 in their last six games, despite the fact that they've been playing without their best offensive player in Christian McCaffrey, who has been out since Week 2.
Now, ahead of a tough matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, McCaffrey is off IR and has returned to practicing in full. This great news means that Panthers fans can expect him to be back in action on Sunday.

Hasn’t played since Wk 2.
After leading the NFL with 2,392 yards from scrimmage on 403 touches in 2019, McCaffrey opened 2020 with 223 yards on 48 touches despite not even making it through two full games.
It could take a couple drives to shake off the rust after missing six weeks of action, but expect McCaffrey to slot right back into his role as the catalyst in this offense. Even when he was out, Carolina gave Mike Davis an average of 13.8 carries and 5.8 targets per game, and they will of course lean on their star much more heavily than they did Davis.
Even with CMC likely to return, however, the Panthers are fighting a serious uphill battle against KC. FanDuel Sportsbook's betting odds have Carolina as a 10.5-point underdog.
