NBC color commentator Chris Collinsworth is generally complementary of NFL players. As a former wide receiver himself, he tends to prefer to lift up the new generation of receivers rather than nitpick or tear them apart.

And that's what makes it so interesting when he does the opposite. Rather than praise Cleveland Browns' wideout Rashard Higgins, Collinsworth decided to give him a weird, back-handed compliment for no apparent reason.

Paraphrasing his quote from last night's game, Collinsworth essentially said Higgins doesn't do anything particularly well, but for whatever reason, Baker Mayfield keeps looking for him.

To be fair, Collinsworth did wrap it up by mentioning that Higgins just continues to make plays.

Still, there were a lot of different ways Collinsworth could've gotten his point across. He certainly didn't need to roast Hollywood Higgins' game just to eventually give him a compliment.
