The 2020 NFL Draft brings us one of the best wide receiver classes in recent memory, but even with so much depth, there's been a clear top tier of prospects. Alabama wideouts Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs, and Oklahoma's CeeDee Lamb have set themselves apart from the crowd.
As Thursday night approaches, the most recent NFL Draft odds on FanDuel Sportsbook show that Lamb may even be distancing himself among that elite group.
Lamb had already overtaken Jeudy in the odds to be the first wide receiver drafted earlier in the week, but he was still just +120. Those odds were implying that it was still a wide open race.
Now Lamb is up to -180, while Jeudy ranks second at +210 and Ruggs ranks third at +600. Converting those odds to implied probability, that gives Lamb a 64.3 percent chance to be the first wideout selected, while neither Jeudy nor Ruggs are within even 30 percentage points of that mark.
Even with the start of the draft just hours away, there's plenty of time for these odds to undergo drastic changes. Keep a close eye on things, because this is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable Round 1's that we've seen in a long time.
