Carlos Hyde will enter the 2020 season as the backup running back to Chris Carson in the Seattle Seahawks backfield. He is coming off a season with the Houston Texans where he actually performed quite well, better than most people's expectations. After being handed the starting job following Lamar Miller's injury, Hyde put up 1,070 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns in 2019.

Now, reports out of Seattle training camp are that Hyde could be looking at a bigger role in Seattle than originally planned, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

While Hyde doesn't figure to be much of a factor in the passing game, he could see a decent amount of work on early downs and in goal-line situations.

If he can capitalize on those opportunities, more will surely come and he could end being a nice FLEX piece in fantasy leagues, not to mention he's already proved last season he has no problem stepping into an every-down role if Carson was to miss any time.
