Brewers Make Huge Jump in Latest ESPN MLB Power Rankings

The Milwaukee Brewers have been off to a decent start to begin the 2021 MLB Season. Their current record stands at 11-7, good enough for first place in the NL Central. The second-place Cincinnati Reds trail them by 1.5 games.
The Brewers are also on a three-game winning streak, which has helped them climb ESPN's latest MLB power rankings. Milwaukee was ranked No. 15 last week but has since risen to No. 8.

Brewers fans should also be happy that their team is the highest-ranked NL Central team on the power rankings, with the Reds being the closest at No. 11.
If you want to look for a reason behind the Brewers' success, you can look at their pitching and defense. They're giving up a league-low 3.06 runs per game and opposing teams are only putting up a .189 team batting average (1st).
Corbin Burnes has been a stud for the Brewers on the mound. He has a 2-1 record along with a 0.37 ERA. If he and the rest of the rotation can keep up the good work, the Brewers should see more success this season.
As the season continues, the Brewers have a respectable shot at winning the World Series. According to FanDuel Sports, Milwaukee's World Series odds stand at +2200, which ranks 11th.
