Braves Reliever Rips Reporter for Terrible Question

Atlanta Braves reliever Mark Melancon is in the news for the second straight day. First it was for making a catch in the bullpen off Ozzie Albies' home run. Now it's for the way he responded to a terribly-worded and confusing question by a reporter following the Braves NLCS Game 2 win over the Dodgers.
The reporter's question was so bad, its kind of hard to even understand what exactly he is asking, and Melancon agrees. From what we can tell, it seems like he is asking that if despite winning, can you still take a positive away from the game because the Braves nearly blew a 7-0 lead.

It doesn't take a mathematician to know that having a 2-0 lead in a best of seven series is a good thing. And while there were surely things in Game 2 the Braves think they can improve on or do better, especially the late-inning pitching, it's pretty clear when you win a game what the positives are, especially in the playoffs.
Reporters do this on occasion, where they try and think of some weird angle or question that might get a player to say something for a story, and it ends up falling flat. Melancon's confused and frustrated response is surely the same one most people had.
Best to just ignore and hope the reporter learns from it.
