Brandon Aiyuk Doubles Down on Petty Grudge Against Eagles

The Super Bowl is always a polarizing event, forcing fans to pick sides. That's become even more true in recent years with the explosion of sports betting, which raises the stakes for viewers with money on the line.
San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk already knows which team he would bet on for Super Bowl 57, and his answer isn't particularly surprising.

The 49ers wideout feels quite strongly about the outcome of SB 57, saying he would bet on the farm on the Kansas City Chiefs to win.
Aiyuk apparently is still upset about losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. He didn't hesitate to bash them a few days ago, saying, "They got extremely lucky" against San Francisco because of the in-game injuries to 49ers quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson. Philadelphia ended up winning handily, beating Aiyuk and his teammates 31-7 to earn a trip to the Super Bowl.
It's unclear if Aiyuk actually thinks the Chiefs are a better team or if he's just still bitter at the Eagles, but he's showing a lot more confidence in Kansas City than the sportsbooks are. FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl 57 odds actually have the Chiefs listed as 1.5-point underdogs heading into the big game.
