The Cleveland Browns head into the offseason looking to fix whatever went wrong in 2021. The team fought through an up-and-down season, but ultimately finished tied for last in the AFC North with an 8-9 record. This Browns roster has the pieces in place to compete for a Super Bowl title, though.

General manager Andrew Berry has never been afraid of making big moves in the past if it means bettering Cleveland's chances of winning it all. That could be anything from a blockbuster trade to a surprising draft pick. Let's take a look at three bold predictions for the Browns this offseason.

Browns Bold Predictions

1. Browns Trade Cornerback Greedy Williams

Cleveland suddenly has a ton of cornerbacks capable of starting in the secondary. Denzel Ward made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and Greg Newsome racked up 9 pass breakups during his rookie season. That leaves 2019 second-round pick Greedy Williams as the likely odd man out. Williams logged 2 interceptions this past season and would have a ton of trade value to teams in search of an upgrade at CB. The opportunity to trade for a No. 1 WR or a starting caliber defensive tackle doesn't come up quite often and Berry could easily decide to take advantage of that.

2. Browns Sign Cam Robinson in Free Agency

The Browns boast one of the best rushing attacks in the league and averaged a healthy 145.4 yards on the ground per game in 2021 (No. 4 in NFL). A lot of the credit should be given to the team's stellar offensive line as two Cleveland blockers were selected to the Pro Bowl. You can never have enough depth in today's NFL, though. The Browns have over $26 million in available cap space and could bring in a proven left tackle to cement that position for years to come. Cam Robinson sticks out as a potential free agent target given his age (26 years) and experience (61 games played). Berry has proven he will prioritize the OL whenever he feels it is necessary. He could be a great backup to Jedrick Wills Jr. at LT.

3. Browns Select Multiple Wide Receivers in 2022 NFL Draft

There's no question that the Browns need to build depth at the wide receiver position in one way or another. Veteran slot receiver Jarvis Landry currently lines up as the only reliable option in 2022. Fortunately for Cleveland, the 2022 NFL Draft class is filled with talented pass-catchers. Grabbing a player like Chris Olave or Jameson Williams with the No. 13 overall pick would be a great first step in improving quarterback Baker Mayfield's weaponry. Both standouts averaged at least 15.4 yards per catch during college. Don't be surprised if the Browns select one or two more wideouts as well, though. Finding a diamond in the rough during the later rounds would be perfect for Cleveland.
