Best Wide Receivers Likely to Hit Free Agency in the Offseason

With an increased emphasis on the passing game in the NFL, pass-catchers are arguably more important than ever. Of course, it should come as no surprise that there's going to be a ton of competition for the top wideouts services this offseason.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the top wide receivers likely to hit free agency this offseason.
3. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
A.J. Green was the subject of quite a few trade rumors this season, but an injured foot kept him on the sidelines for the entire year. His contract expires at the end of the year though, and with the Cincinnati Bengals in a re-building period, Green could look to explore his options in free agency. While his checkered injury history is concerning, Green is undoubtedly among the league's best when healthy. He racked up 694 receiving yards and six touchdowns across nine games in 2018, and there will likely be plenty of teams vying for his services if he elects to leave Cincinnati.
2. Emmanuel Sanders, San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers shipped a third and a fourth-round pick to the Denver Broncos for Emmanuel Sanders this season, and he's done a solid job with the team. Still, it's far from a guarantee that he'll be back with the 49ers next season, and he clearly has enough left in the tank to contribute on a contender. He's averaged 53.0 receiving yards per game since joining San Francisco, and the veteran will likely have plenty of teams interested in acquiring his services.
1. Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys
Amari Cooper's contract is expiring at the end of the season. While one would assume the Dallas Cowboys would attempt to re-sign him, Dallas might not have enough cap space to pull it off. The Cowboys are going to have to pay Dak Prescott this offseason, and they'll likely have to make a tough decision between Cooper and star corner Byron Jones – especially after shelling out $90 million to Ezekiel Elliott. Cooper has dealt with a variety of injuries this season, but he's still racked up 1,097 receiving yards and eight scores. He's one of the best receivers in the league, and if Cooper actually reaches free agency, he'll likely become one of the highest-paid wideouts in the NFL.
