Thursday's TNT double-header starts with the Boston Celtics at New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. EST. The Celtics (18-20) are a 1.5-point road favorite over the Knickerbockers (18-20) with an over/under of 207.5 points.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the Celtics-Knicks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Celtics vs Knicks Prop Bets
1. Julius Randle - Points: Over 21.5 (-104)
Last year's Most Improved Player award winner Julius Randall leads the Knicks in scoring (19.6), rebounds (10.1) and assists (4.9) per game. The 27-year old facilitates New York's offense. He enters off a 30-point, 16-rebound performance in the win over the Pacers and did so against a strong defender in Miles Turner. He scored 20 points at Boston on Dec. 18 and scored a season-high 35 points against the Celtics in a high-scoring win at Madison Square Garden on opening night.
2. RJ Barrett - Points + Assists: Over 21.5 (-104)
RJ Barrett is just 21 years old, and has already played 2 1/2 (abbreviated) seasons with the Knicks. The fans were chanting his name at Madison Square Garden Tuesday night as he went off for 32 points with 30 in the first three quarters. That included 19 in the first quarter when he made his first six shots. Barrett's shooing percentage is down this season, and he didn't play when these teams met on Dec. 18. But Tuesday's big performance gives Barrett confidence moving forward and he's worth riding to more production.
3. Win Margin - NY Knicks 1-10 (+200)
With a tight line and low total, this game figures to be close for these last place division rivals. The Celtics are playing back-to-back nights and the Knicks are off a solid win led by their two stars despite poor perimeter shooting. New York's defense has been better in five of their last six games. Rather than bet the Knicks to win, play them at 2/1 odds to win by 10 points or less.
