Bengals Get Huge Update on Offensive Coordinator's Future in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bengals are stuck at home watching the Super Bowl this year after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Making matters worse, their offseason kicked off with the news that offensive coordinator Brian Callahan was in contention for the open head coach role with the Indianapolis Colts.
On Friday, the Bengals got a huge update on Callahan's future in Cincinnati.
Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan was told he’s been eliminated from the Colts search, per source. @MikeSilver reported (and I’ve confirmed) Giants DC Wink Martindale was told the same.

Callahan also was up for the Cardinals job, is clearly a name to watch for 2024.
Callahan was officially eliminated from the Colts' search, per a report from Mike Silver and Albert Breer. One of the trendiest candidates this offseason, Callahan also explored the opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals.
Thankfully, he'll be back in 2023. This is great news for Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and the rest of Cincy's offense. Callahan has been the Bengals' OC since 2019, helping the franchise finish top-10 in scoring in each of the last two years.
The expectation is for Cincinnati to continue this strong reign of aerial attack, especially with Callahan returning to the fold.
