Angels Fans Troll Astros by Throwing Trash Cans on to Field
By Larry Rupp

The Houston Astros have quickly become one of the most hated teams in baseball and the Los Angeles Angels fans in attendance made sure they knew about it on Monday night. The animosity was evident as they threw trash cans on to the field during what turned out to be a wild game.

Both an inflatable and real trash can found their way on to the warning track at Angels Stadium during the sixth inning. This was a classic troll job as the Astros have been linked to trash cans ever since they were investigated for a major sign-stealing scandal during the 2017 season.
Since the report came out in January of 2020, fans were not able to attend games last season and let the Astros hear their displeasure. Well, they have certainly started making up for lost time now.

Astros players were also met with deafening boos during at bats and cheers of "Astros suck!" could be heard all night long. Houston may have thought the jeers ended last season, but it seems like their reign as MLB's public enemy No. 1 is far from over.
The Angels battled back in this game after falling down early and scored four runs in the eighth inning to grab an eventual 7-6 win. With two more games on tap for this series, it'll be interesting to see if Angels fans have any other tricks up their sleeve to get into the Astros players' heads.
