Worries started to build after Alvin Kamara was a surprise DNP during the week. On Friday, the New Orleans Saints confirmed Kamara will sit in Week 10 due to a knee injury.

That update now sends Mark Ingram's fantasy outlook in Week 10 to the moon.

Mark Ingram Fantasy Outlook

Kamara is the current RB6 in PPR scoring, which showcases the potential Ingram has now in an expanded role.

The latter had already started to cut into the former's work since joining the Saints in Week 8. Kamara averaged 23.2 touches (19.0 rushes plus 4.2 receptions) over the first six games of the year. He's fallen to 19.5 touches (16.0 rushes plus 23.5 receptions) since Ingram's arrival.

Now Ingram will be the clear RB1 on the team with the fourth-most rushing attempts per game (30.5) this season, and only Dwayne Washington behind him on the depth chart.

Ingram could absorb most (if not all) of Kamara's 5.5 targets per game as well, putting him in position to potentially boom, especially in PPR formats.

Ingram's likely workload is hard to argue against, even in a Week 10 matchup against a Tennessee Titans defense in the top 10 for fewest PPR points allowed to RBs. He's a must-add in any league given the uncertainty around Kamara.
