Allen Robinson Fantasy Outlook Remains Elite Despite QB Uncertainty

Allen Robinson finally returned with a full 16-game season after playing just a combined 14 games between 2017 and 2018.
It was clear that health was no problem for him in 2019, as he turned 154 targets into 98 receptions, 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. That put him eighth among all wideouts with 254.9 PPR fantasy points, and his outlook remains outstanding in 2020.

Allen Robinson Fantasy Football Value 2020
The easiest knock against Robinson is that he may be catching passes from Mitchell Trubisky. Poor QB play is nothing new for Robinson, though. He was also catching passes from Trubisky last season, and the best year of his career (finishing as the WR6 in 2015) came while catching passes from Blake Bortles.
If Nick Foles gets the start for the Chicago Bears and proves to be an upgrade over Trubisky, that would be great for Robinson's value. But it's clear that Robinson doesn't need that to happen to maintain top-12 upside at WR.
Only three wideouts in the NFL (Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins and Davante Adams) accounted for a larger share of their teams' targets than Robinson's 27 percent in 2019. Volume is the backbone of fantasy football production, and we know that Robinson is a safe bet to be among the league's elite in that area once again in 2020.

Being drafted as the WR9 according to FantasyPros' average draft position (ADP) data, Robinson really seems to be getting drafted around his floor. The upside of a possible jump in efficiency with Foles at the helm makes his ceiling much higher than WR9.
He checks in at WR7 in our 2020 fantasy football rankings.
