Here we go again for Nick Saban and Alabama in 2020. The legendary coach tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time this season over a week ago, only this time Saban showed mild symptoms.

Nick Saban COVID-19

He missed Bama's game against Auburn because of it, his first missed game in 47 years, but Saban refused to miss two straight.

Saban praised a plasma treatment that he received, stating that his fever was gone and only slight cold symptoms remained. He also self-isolated for 10 days per SEC protocol.

The Crimson Tide are currently sitting at number one in the nation, and although LSU shouldn't be too much of a threat at 3-4 this year, it'll be great to have Saban's steady hand back at the wheel.

Now officially cleared to travel with the team and coach again, Saban and Alabama will both hope that this is their last major run-in with Covid-19. The storied program looks to win another title this season after all, and the virus might actually be the greatest factor standing in their way.
