AL MVP Odds Favor Aaron Judge Into Mid-June on FanDuel Sportsbook
Aaron Judge is letting his bat do the talking. The Yankees slugger has moved ahead to lead the Most Valuable Player race, according to the current American League MVP odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. Judge's odds (+150) have been cut in half the past week as he's passed Shohei Ohtani (+270) with Mike Trout (+700) falling back this week.
Last year's MVP Ohtani has been the favorite since the start of the season. But Judge has slugged his way to the top for the league-leading Yankees.
Judge tops the AL in OPS and Slugging, just ahead of Jordan Alvarez (+2500) and Jose Ramirez (+1100), who leads the AL with 55 RBIs. Judge leads the American League with 22 HRs, 141 total bases and 48 runs scored, and he's second in RBIs with 45. The Yankees star is also hitting .310 to rank among the league leaders, while Rafael Devers (+1600) moved up in the MVP race this week hitting .336. Devers was +5000 just three weeks ago.
Other notable changes include the Toronto Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. falling from +900 less than three weeks ago to +2500.
Here are the current leaders in American League MVP odds on FanDuel Sportsbook into the second week in June.
