Sunday was a disastrous showing for the Detroit Tigers' defense. Detroit committed a whopping four errors in a 4-1 loss against the Toronto Blue Jays. Even more troubling was the fact the team only combined for three hits all afternoon.

Manager A.J. Hinch didn't hold back in postgame comments regarding the Tigers' mishaps.

Hinch used an expletive to describe his team's defensive showing on Sunday. It's hard to blame him after Detroit struggled to make routine plays and cost themselves a chance at a win as a result.

The most egregious error occured in the bottom of the fifth, when Garrett Hill failed to pick off Cavan Biggio, allowing him to get to second. Biggio then scored right after following a double by Vladimir Guerrero Jr, extending Toronto's lead to 3-1.

The Tigers' final error was committed by Javier Baez, who has now moved into the top spot for most errors committed among shortstops (14) this season, passing Houston Astros rookie Jeremy Pena (13).

Detroit will look to move past Sunday's disaster as the team begins a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
