Adam Thielen Injury Update Hurts Fantasy Outlook in Week 9

Adam Thielen went down with a hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions, and he missed the Minnesota Vikings' following game in Week 8. While Thielen managed to return in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs, he has seemingly re-aggravated that injury and is questionable to return.

This is obviously a huge blow to anyone who started Thielen in fantasy football, as he had a great matchup against an exploitable Chiefs' secondary. He didn't record a single catch before exiting the game, so he could post a goose egg for any fantasy owners who had Thielen in their lineup.
In his absence, Laquon Treadwell, a former first-round pick by Minnesota in 2016, has stepped up, leading the team with 39 receiving yards as of writing. Bisi Johnson, who had 67 yards and a TD on 10 targets over the last two weeks, should also see a boost in fantasy value.

Of course, Thielen's absence makes this Vikings' offense a lot less dynamic and Kirk Cousins will likely get a bit of a downgrade if Thielen is forced to miss any time.
Both Treadwell and Johnson could be viable streaming options if Thielen is sidelined, but hopefully the two-time Pro Bowl wideout can get back on the field soon.
