3 Most Likely Trade Destinations for Joe Flacco

The 2018 Baltimore Ravens season ended on Sunday with a 23-17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and that also means the likely end of Joe Flacco's time in Baltimore. Flacco's days were already numbered when the Ravens drafted Lamar Jackson, but after Flacco went down with a hip injury and Jackson went 6-1, including an AFC North division title and a record-setting run at QB, there was no turning back.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh pretty much confirmed that Flacco will be traded or released before next season and there will surely be a market for a Super Bowl-winning quarterback. In particular, there are three AFC teams that might be clamoring for Flacco's services next season.

3. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have already been rumored to have interest in Flacco, and a new quarterback could jump start a team that seems to always be close, but never really in the playoff hunt. Since 2009, Miami hasn't been worse than 6-10, but have only won 10 games once during that span. Flacco made the playoffs five times in the past 10 years.

2. Denver Broncos

Yet another team that just couldn't be competitive this season, party due to their quarterback play. Case Keenum is still under contract for 2019, so the Broncos would have to eat a lot of money, but it might be worth it if they can snag Flacco. With the thin air in Denver, the Delaware product could launch deep shots all day, and he's certainly performed as an opposing player in Denver before.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars would be a great fit for Flacco. With a great defense still in place, if Flacco could just make their offense slightly better than average, they could easily return to the playoffs. The Jaguars should do all they can to try and bring Flacco in as long as they can afford him. Going into next season with Blake Bortles or Cody Kessler at quarterback would be a big mistake for the Jags.
