[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 5-2 in parlay bets with a +$69.58 payout differential. This month, we're +$212.53].

Game 1: Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets (-1.5, -110), 7:40 p.m. EST

The Nets are rolling, winning eight of their last nine games, and they'll take on a Hornets team that has failed to cover the spread in eight of their last 11. These are two teams going in opposite directions, and you can bet the general public will be all over Kemba Walker & Co. while they're getting points against a team that historically doesn't move the needle with basketball enthusiasts.

Game 2: New Orleans Pelicans @ Dallas Mavericks (-134), 8:40 p.m. EST

A tale of two cities, literally, between New Orleans and Dallas. The Pelicans just can't get it done on the road this season, going 4-14 away from the Smoothie King Center, while the Mavs are a pristine 13-3 at American Airlines Center. The Pelicans will also be without Nikola Mirotic in this game, so look for the Mavs to take advantage of that.

Game 3:  TCU vs. California (Cheez-It Bowl)Under 38.5 Points (-110), 9 p.m. EST

Most people probably saw this line and thought it was a joke; a 38.5-point total in a bowl game seems pretty low, especially when there aren't any inclement weather issues to deal with like in Wednesday afternoon's First Responders Bowl. So how did we get to this point, or only 38.5 of them? Well, Cal's defense has taken a major step forward this season under head coach Justin Wilcox. In fact, an unbelievable eight of the last nine games the Golden Bears have been involved with have gone under the total.
