Ever since Nick Mullens took over as the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, Dante Pettis has been a trendy sleeper pick at wide receiver. He's slowly increased his production week after week and now, following his performance against the Seahawks on Sunday, he's officially fantasy viable.

On the season Pettis has 28 targets, 16 receptions, 314 yards, and 4 touchdowns. However almost all of that production has come in the last three games under Mullens as Pettis has seen 20 targets and had 14 receptions. On Sunday he had 5 receptions for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

With injuries to both Pierre Garçon and Marquise Goodwin pushing Pettis into a starting role, now is as great a time as any to pick up the rookie wideout. While he might now be fantasy viable, he is also still just at best a flex option. He doesn't yet have the consistent pedigree to trust him over some other big names. But he's had 15.7 and 27.2 fantasy points over the past two weeks and if he continues to perform like that he'll be winning quite a few fantasy leagues.
