It goes without saying that Cardinals running back David Johnson and Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen are must-starts in fantasy football each and every week. But this week they could be game-breakers facing off against one another's teams at 4:05 p.m. EST

With Johnson's arrow already trending up since Byron Leftwich took over as the Cardinals' offensive coordinator, the back faces a defense that has given up 136.9 PPR fantasy points receiving to opposing running backs. That same Chargers defense gives up the 14th most fantasy points to the RB position overall this season.

In two November games all Johnson has done is go for 98 yards and a rushing touchdown along with 7 receptions for another 85 yards and a receiving TD against the Chiefs in Week 10, and then last week he had 25 rushes for 137 yards and one catch for an additional 17 yards. So suffice to say, he's the go-to guy in the Cardinals' offense again with a juicy matchup this afternoon.

And on the other side of the field, there's Allen, who is also trending up. In the past three weeks, the wideout has had 21 catches on 31 targets to go along with 270 yards and two touchdowns. Despite a tough matchup against fellow All-Pro Patrick Peterson, Allen's target share still slots him in as a high-floor WR1/2.

Both should have big games on Sunday and could be the difference between a win and loss this week with just one regular season game left before the fantasy playoffs.
